Dr. Kevin J. Potocsky

Smile Sensations of Allen Park

Dr. Kevin Potocsky completed his undergraduate studies at University of Michigan, then earned his DDS at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2001. He worked under his father, Dr. I. Dennis Potocsky, for a year before taking over the Allen Park office in 2002. Dr. Kevin is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, Detroit District Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Alpha Omega Dental Club. He was recognized in an article that ran in DentalTown Magazine for his achievements with teeth bleaching.

Dr. Kevin is certified in esthetics by Nash Institute and currently attends the Dawson Academy. He is trained to administer Six Month Braces™ and miniature dental implants, as well.

After hours, Dr. Kevin and his wife, Julie, enjoy movies and sporting events. Dr. Kevin also likes to play hockey and golf.

Dr. I. Dennis Potocsky

Smile Sensations of Melvindale

Dr. I. Dennis Potocsky completed his undergraduate work at Michigan State University. He then earned his DDS from University of Detroit Mercy in 1969. He spent two years in the US Army at Fort Riley in Kansas, then opened his private practice in Melvindale in 1971. Dr. Dennis holds a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Detroit District Dental Society.

Dr. Dennis regularly attends postgraduate courses to stay informed on the latest developments in dental science and technology. He has trained in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal procedures, Invisalign, TMJ therapy, and restorative dentistry. To support the community, he sponsors local baseball teams and churches, Safety Town, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Dr. Dennis and his wife of over 40 years, Myra, have three children they are very proud of. Their daughter, Michelle, is a cranial sacral therapist, while Howard and Kevin followed in their father's footsteps and now own the two additional locations of Sensational Smiles. Dr. Dennis' five grandchildren are the delight of his life. In his free time, Dr. Dennis enjoys bridge, squash, and golf.

Dr. Howard P. Potocsky

Smile Sensations of Riverview

Dr. Howard Potocsky attended University of Wisconsin for his undergraduate studies, then earned his DDS at University of Detroit Mercy Dental School in 1997. He has worked at the Riverview practice since 1998. Dr. Howard holds membership in the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Howard and his wife, Lauren, have two young daughters and one son that they love to spend time with. After work, Dr. Howard likes to play golf, racquetball, go skiing, and stay physically fit.
